Estimates

Lost Art offers free in-home estimates for most re-upholstery, custom-built furniture, and repair jobs in the local area. The local area includes Corvallis, Philomath, Albany and nearby surrounding communities. If you are unsure if you qualify for a free estimate, just ask.

If you are outside the local area, Lost Art can arrange an in-home estimate for a reasonable fee. The fee will be credited to your work order if you decide to have Lost Art do the work. In some cases, Lost Art may be able to waive the in-home estimate fee for those outside the local area. Please contact Lost Art for more details.

Free estimates are also available at the Lost Art studio. The studio also contains a showroom featuring select designer fabrics, leathers, vinyl and trims. Please see the Contact web page for directions to and hours for the studio. 

"Ball park" estimates will be given if you bring or e-mail a photo of the piece of furniture to be upholstered or repaired instead of the actual piece to the studio. Ball park estimates will include estimated cost and yardage ranges which will be revised more accurately once the piece is seen by Lost Art. 

To get a ball park estimate by e-mail, attach a photo of the piece to be upholstered to an e-mail and send it to upholstery@lostart.biz. Be sure to include a description of any changes you want done and the fabric you plan to use if you already know. E-mailed ball park estimates are an easy way to get a rough idea of cost without investing a lot of time or effort. If the cost range sounds reasonable, we can arrange a subsequent free in-home estimate to give you a more detailed and accurate estimate.
